Propose practices and procedures that head off breaches of the Code and Standards under Standard VII, Responsibilities as a Member or Candidate
The idea
A firm keeps Standard VII clean by having compliance review every document that mentions CFA Institute or the charter, from pitch books to biographies, email signatures and social media profiles, against approved wording: the designation after a name, candidacy described as enrolment in the CFA Program, levels passed stated as facts. A yearly check that each charterholder has paid dues and filed the Professional Conduct Statement stops lapsed use. Staff sitting exams should be told that studying the curriculum together is fine but discussing what a sitting examined is not. Volunteers who write or grade questions must keep that work confidential. Someone who passed a level but has not registered for the next is no longer a candidate.
In the app: 1 practice questions on this outcome, a narrated walkthrough with diagrams, spaced review that brings it back before you forget it.
